What I focus on is style, technique and subject.

First the style, which is always combined with technique is very photographer specific in this case, which is always a good thing. I can recognize Zieniu in here.
The soft light in black and white is very suited for portrait photography. In this photo, the light is a bit harsh tho. The hands and face are to bright. This suits fashion photography more, but it kind of diminishes the atmosphere I like so much in b/w. The darker places are just right, not being a black spot, but clearly visible hair and background.
The model makes a non defining expression. Again something I see more in fashion, but pleasing non the less. The eyes are really striking and define the center of the picture. The diagonal line and the elegant hands make the picture more interesting.

All in all, not my most favorite picture. Mostly because it is technically good enough to fall in two categories, a black and white portrait (as I see it) and a fashion photo. The model is has a bit to much glamour, which is seen a lot in photography lately. So the main point is that it's not defining enough. Nonetheless I liked it enough to write a critique about it!

This is beautiful, I recognize her from somewhere..

Has she ever been on a book cover, I think that's where I recognize her from.
